    • General Comments: A smaller version of the 36’ Halibut Ketch, designed to go to sea and actually have reasonable cruising performance under sail. Double berth forward, single in the galley down low midships, and a convertible dinette in the pilothouse. Shipmate wood range in the galley to provide heat, inside and outside controls with good visibility, and easily handled small sails tune her toward cruising in many parts of the world. Tabernacles for the masts would make her an excellent boat for the Great Circle or European Canals.

Extended Comments

A smaller version of the 36’ Halibut Ketch designed to go to sea and actually have reasonable cruising performance under sail. Double berth forward, single in the galley down low midships, and a convertible dinette in the pilothouse. Shipmate wood range in the galley to provide heat, inside and outside controls with good visibility, and easily handled small sails tune her toward Pacific North West cruising but these features are applicable to cruising in many parts of the world, Russia, Scandinavia, Northern and Eastern Europe, the UK come to mind. Tabernacles for the masts would make her an excellent boat for the Great Circle or European Canals.

Construction is offered in two materials, steel or wood. Steel version is multi-chine with a bar stem. Wood, plywood oversawn frames with laminated backbone (same method as the wooden Timbercoast Troller 22 ).
